Your Name

Rahul Yadav

From the soil of simplicity, with the discipline of a soldier, the roots of a farmer, and the vision of a civil servant for the service of the nation.

🌱 1. Childhood – A Farmer in Me

My earliest inspiration in life didn’t come from books or screens — it came from the fields where my grandfather worked as a farmer. As a child, I would often observe him, sweating under the sun, tending the crops, and finishing the day with calm satisfaction.

I helped in small tasks — carrying tools, watering plants, even just sitting by his side. That life of hard work and simplicity made a deep impact on me. After long hours in the field, we would eat together, rest under trees, and sleep peacefully. It was my first taste of real joy — the kind that comes from effort and fulfillment.

At that time, I didn’t dream of big titles. I dreamed of one day continuing that same honest lifestyle, to live close to the land, feel nature’s rhythm, and experience the inner peace that comes from working hard.

That was my first dream: to become a farmer.

“Before I dreamed of power, I dreamed of peace.”

🎒 2. School Life – Values, Vision & Balance

School was where I started turning thoughts into actual goals. It became the space where my ambition, discipline, faith, and technical interests took their first form.

I always set my own targets — whether it was ranking high in class, scoring well in science, joining debates, or mastering computer basics. I wasn’t the loudest speaker in the room, but I was always the most curious. I loved asking “why”, “how”, and “what if?”. That mindset led me to explore subjects like mathematics, physics, and computers on a deeper level.

School is also where I first connected deeply with spirituality. I developed a strong bond with Lord Shiv, Ram, Hanuman Ji, Durga Maa, Saraswati Maa, Ganesh Ji, Khatu Shyam Ji, Bhairav Ji, and Gaumata. Even during exams, I kept faith close to me, believing that spiritual focus brought me mental calm and inner strength.

At the same time, I had a sharp interest in science and logical thinking. This became the balance I still carry today: faith in the heart, and logic in the mind.

“I learned Bhakti (devotion) and Buddhi (intellect) go hand-in-hand.”

🛩️ 3. Airforce Coaching – Where Discipline Took Over

After school, I stepped into a new chapter: Airforce coaching. It was one of the most intense and transformational phases of my life. Waking up before sunrise, doing physical training, studying under pressure, and following a rigorous schedule — this journey truly tested my limits.

At first, the demands were overwhelming. But slowly, they molded me into someone stronger — not just physically, but also mentally. I developed endurance, time management, focus, and self-control. The military mindset taught me to treat every goal like a mission, and every setback like a training round.

During this phase, I learned:

“The uniform gave me discipline. The purpose gave me direction.”

🎓 4. College Life – From IIT Aspirant to Nation Builder

My college journey began with a strong goal — to become a scientist through IIT. I was passionate about math, physics, chemistry, and computer science, and I worked hard to crack complex problems and analytical questions.

Science fascinated me. I spent long hours studying, practicing, and exploring the world of formulas and facts. But soon, my curiosity led deeper into technology and digital systems. I began exploring laptops, phones, operating systems, ethical hacking — and that’s when I discovered a new passion: cybersecurity.

Naturally, I became interested in becoming a hacker — but an ethical one, who could protect systems and serve the country in the digital world.

Then I started learning about India’s intelligence agency – RAW. I read about silent operations, digital surveillance, and the power of serving behind-the-scenes. For a time, I dreamed of serving the nation as a spy, a cyber intelligence officer who could stop threats before they reached the headlines.

And just two months later, came my final realization — the role that could bring all my values and visions together: UPSC.

“From wanting to join IIT to wanting to build India — my dream evolved with my awakening.”

📘 5. Present – UPSC Preparation: A Mission in the Making

Today, I am fully committed to my UPSC preparation. My reason is clear — I want to serve the country with knowledge, integrity, and bold action.

UPSC is not just an exam for me — it's a pathway to purpose. It is where my past and present come together — the hard work of farming, the discipline of Airforce training, the logic of science, the power of hacking, and the calm of faith.

I am preparing for both IPS and IAS roles.

I study daily with discipline and vision. I revise, reflect, and relate every topic to the present-day situation of our country. I believe every subject I study is not just for marks — it’s for mission.

“This is not preparation for a job. This is training for a lifetime of impact.”

🇮🇳 6. Post-UPSC Future – Serving the Country with Purpose

Once I succeed in the UPSC journey, I don’t just want a position — I want a platform to uplift society.

As a civil servant, my mission is clear:

I want to act with compassion and courage, be a bridge between the government and the people, and implement solutions that create lasting results.

“Not just to wear a badge — but to become a shield for those who need it.”
